Dr. Rahil Patel completed a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 1995.

​

After successful completion from an MD program, Post graduate training in Family Medicine was completed in 2005 from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.

 

Dr. Patel became a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine in 2005 and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School in the department of family medicine and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Patel's interests include preventive care, diabetes, asthma, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and a host of other disciplines. Dr. Patel’s philosophy is geared towards evidence-based medicine with an emphasis on reducing health care cost.

Dr. Patel has been practicing in Edison for the last 20 years and is an attending physician at JFK University Medical Center.

Fluent in Spanish, Gujarati and Hindi.
